As Vice Chairman and Chief Investment Officer of Affinius Capital, Craig is responsible for overseeing the strategic direction and execution of the company’s investment strategies. He is Vice Chair of the firm’s Investment Committee and serves on the Board of Directors of Affinius Capital LLC.</br></br> Mr. Solomon co-founded Square Mile Capital in 2006, a former affiliate of Affinius Capital. Previously, he was the managing partner of Solomon and Weinberg LLP, a New York-based law firm specializing in all areas of commercial real estate and finance which Mr. Solomon co-founded in 1990, and a founding principal of SWH Realty Corp., a high yield real estate finance platform and Platinum Funding Corp., an asset-based specialty finance firm, both of which have since been sold or merged into other organizations. He has broad expertise in all facets of the real estate industry, with particular expertise in structured real estate finance, distressed transactions, joint ventures and partnerships, capital markets, foreclosures, restructurings, and real estate-related bankruptcies.</br></br> Mr. Solomon received his undergraduate degree from Lehigh University, and his Juris Doctor (J.D.) from the George Washington University School of Law, where he was a member of the Law Review. He began his career at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison.
