John Parsons
Managing Director, Head of U.S. Data Center Development
John Parsons serves as Managing Director, Head of U.S. Data Center Development for Affinius Capital. In this role, he leads the firm’s U.S. data center development strategy, including site selection, project execution, and delivery across Affinius Capital’s growing hyperscale and digital infrastructure portfolio. He is also responsible for advancing strategic priorities and cultivating partnerships with tenants, utilities, and other key stakeholders to support long-term platform growth and value creation.
Prior to joining Affinius in 2026, John served as National Lead for Data Centers in the U.S. at Goodman, where he was responsible for executing the firm’s U.S. data center strategy across investment, joint venture, and development activities. He previously served as Principal of Real Estate at Amazon Web Services, where he oversaw the entitlement, acquisition, leasing, and development of more than 15 gigawatts of data center capacity across the Americas. Earlier in his career, John led U.S. data center advisory services for a global real estate services platform.
John earned a Bachelor of Business Studies in Real Estate Development and Valuation from Massey University in New Zealand. He is active in industry organizations, including the Urban Land Institute, where he serves on the Data Center Property Council.
John is based in Seattle.
