Managing Director, Associate General Counsel, Head of Legal and Operations – Credit

Beth Newman is Managing Director, Associate General Counsel and the Head of Legal and Operations of the Credit business at Affinius Capital. Beth is responsible for overseeing all legal matters as it relates to credit investments for Affinius, including, the structuring, negotiation, origination and ongoing management of credit investments. In addition, Beth overseas operational matters among the credit investments team.

Before joining Affinius Capital in 2017, she was Special Counsel at Schulte Roth & Zabel LLP in the firm’s Real Estate group, where her practice focused on debt and equity financing, property sales and acquisitions, and development projects.

Beth received her B.A. in sociology from Boston University and a J.D. from Hofstra University School of Law.
