In 2022, Mountpark Logistics EU Sarl, a joint Venture between Affinius Capital Holdco B.V. and Mountpark Finco S.a.r.l, developed an Amazon Robotics Sortable “ARS” Fulfillment center for Amazon UK Services Ltd located in Wakefield, United Kingdom.

The project is a state-of-the-art build to suit for Amazon in a prime and strategic location in the city region of Leeds, which is the second most populated metropolitan city region in the United Kingdom.
Amazon Wakefield is a multi-level logistics facility of 2,009,495 SF with a ground floor of approximately 535,451 SF and three mezzanine levels ranging from 487,562 SF to 496,464 SF.
The project includes a high level of building specifications, which includes 19.85-meter clear height on the ground floor, 5.26-meter clear height in the picking tower and 2.78-meter clear height under the mezzanine floors.
With wellbeing at the forefront of design, the unit boasts a BREEAM rating of “Very Good”, EPC rating A, PV panels located on the warehouse roof which are expected to generate approximately 4 MW of power, electric vehicle charging points, a new bus terminal and timber sourced from sustainable forestry.
The project is a mission critical facility for Amazon to provide the distribution and support network required to facilitate Amazon’s growth in the UK.
Strategic logistics location fronting the M62 motorway and within ½ mile of Junction 30, M62.
The asset was sold in 2002 and marks the largest single industrial asset sale ever in the United Kingdom.
